Ipas Nepal, a non-governmental organization, has been providing technical support to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) to initiate and expand Safe Abortion Services (SAS) in the country since the legalization of abortion in 2002.
Ipas Nepal works closely with MoHP, Department of Health Services (DoHS) and different divisions and centers such as Family Welfare Division (FWD), National Health Training Center (NHTC), contraceptive care. Management Division (MD), Logistics Management Division (LMD), National Health Education, Information and Communication Center (NHEICC) and concerned District Public/ Health Offices (D/PHOs).

Education Qualification
Candidate with master’s degree in Public Health, Nursing can apply for the position.
Excellent skills in program management, especially SRHR programs, with at least 3 years of prior experience. Experience in monitoring and evaluation of the project. Experience in working in humanitarian settings with wide knowledge of the SRHR subject areas. Familiar with working modality of the three tire of government especially local bodies. Demonstrated experience on Rights Based Approach to SRHR. Strong written and communication skills in English and Nepal. Ability to work in a team with excellent interpersonal skills. Local candidates from the program districts Achham, Arghakhanchi & Syanja to be given priority.

Education Qualification
- Candidate with master’s degree, in sociology, public health, or gender.
- The candidate should be a highly qualified professional with extensive working experience in the development of advocacy documents in Health Education, especially focused on Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights for girls and women.
- Must be familiar with SRHR issues and safe abortions issues.
- With more than 10 years of experience in preparing manuals and toolkit in SRHR including safe abortion issues.
- Familiar with working modality of three tires of government especially with the local bodies.
- Experience and understanding of partnership-based advocacy focused on SRHR issues including safe abortion services.
- With excellent written and communication skills in English and Nepali.
