Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. (NSBL) is a subsidiary of State Bank of India (SBI) having 55 percent of ownership. The local partner viz. Employee Provident Fund holds 15% equity and General Public 30%. In terms of the Technical Services Agreement between SBI and the NSBL, the former provides management support to the bank through its expatriate officers including Managing Director who is also the CEO of the Bank. Central Management Committee (CENMAC), consisting of the Managing Director & CEO, Dy. CEO & Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Two Senior Most AGMs, exercises overall control functions with the help of controlling offices, and oversee the overall operations of the Bank.

Education Qualification

Higher Level Managerial Post

  • Educational Qualification: Passed Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks/3 CGPA or equivalent from universities recognized by the Government of Nepal
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in Banking with minimum 3 years’ experience in Managerial level in any areas of Banking such as Merchant Banking, Credit, Marketing, Business Development, Risk Management, Overall Branch Management, Overall Province Office Management etc. in banking and financial institutions.
  • Age: Completed 21 years but not exceeding 48 years as on March 29, 2023 (Chaitra 15, 2079).

Middle Level Managerial Post

  • Educational Qualification: Passed Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks/3 CGPA or equivalent from universities recognized by the Government of Nepal
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years’ experience in Banking with minimum 3 years’ experience Officer and above level at areas such as Hyman Resources Management, Reconciliation, Credit, Marketing, Business Development, Risk Management, Overall Branch Management, Overall Province Office Management etc. in banking and financial institutions.
  • Age: Completed 21 years but not exceeding 48 years as on March 29, 2023 (Chaitra 15, 2079).
