Education Qualification

Outreach Communication and Knowledge Management Coordinator Post

Summary of Job Purpose:  This position will contribute to implementing the outreach communication, documentation, and knowledge management activities. S/he will work closely with program personnel, National Health Education, Information and Communication Center, Family Welfare Division, and other relevant government agencies in producing high quality communication and knowledge management products. S/he will also travel to the field to collect success stories, photos and videos and facilitate field visits from government agencies, donor, and other stakeholders.

Educational qualifications and experiences: Bachelor’s degree in journalism with 3 years of extensive experience in outreach communication, knowledge management and multimedia production preferably Master’s degree; a degree in public health and prior experience with a USAID-funded program/project will be an advantage; experience with a range of development issues such as health, nutrition, family planning, water sanitation and hygiene and gender is desired; fluent in English and Nepali with good writing, editing, translation and communication skills; desktop editing skills i.e., graphic design, infographics and audio-visual editing will be strongly preferred.

Qualitative Evaluation Researcher for HFP Consultant Post

Summary of Job Purpose:  This position will be responsible and collaborate with the full Suaahara Impact Evaluation team, remaining in close consultation with Suaahara SMT and the Monitoring, Evaluation and Research and program and operations teams, as well as the external survey firm and others as needed from design through to completion of the studies.   The consultant will be responsible for designing and finalizing the qualitative study protocol and data collection tools.; responsible for supervision and monitoring of data collection, data analysis and develop the final report.

Educational qualifications and experiences: Masters on social science required/PhD preferred; prior experience working on agriculture, health and nutrition research in Nepal, with preference for designing qualitative studies and analyzing qualitative data, related to an intervention study.
