After getting approval from Nepal Rastra Bank in 2070/02/01 , it has started banking business as per Banking and Financial Institution Act 2073 ( Earlier BAFIA 2063) in 10 districts (Lamjung, Manang, Mustang, Dopla, Ramechhap, Sindupalchowk, Dhading, Nuwakot, Rasuwa and Gorkha) as a class “D” licensed financial Institution with effect from 2070/02/05. From the 10 districts it has expanded its financial services to 15 districts and then to 45 districts and accredited as a National Level Microfinance in 2075/10/17 from Nepal Rastra Bank. Global IME Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited is the Subsidiary Company of Global IME Bank Limited.

Education Qualification

Department Head (IT)

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent graduate in related subject with minimum 3 years of work experience in related department of bank or financial institution.

Province Head

Master’s Degree or equivalent graduate with 3 years of work experience in an Officer position in bank or financial institution. Preference will be given to those having work experience in microfinance institution as a Province Head.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent graduate with 4 years of work experience in Officer position in microfinance institution.

Law Officer

Bachelor’s degree in related subject. Preference to candidates with license from related department and work experience in bank or financial institution.

Investigation Officer/Internal Auditor

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent graduate with minimum 3 years of work experience as Branch Head in micro-finance finance institution or certificate level/10+2 (intermediate) or equivalent graduate with minimum 5 years of work experience Branch Head in micro-finance finance institution.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent graduate with minimum 2 years experience in bank or financial institution or Semi Qualified Chartered Accountancy graduate with minimum 2 years work experience in Audit Firm.

Branch Head

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent graduate with 2 years of work experience in microfinance institution as Senior Assistant or Supervisor.
Certificate level/10+2 (intermediate) or equivalent graduate with 3 years of work experience in microfinance institution. Preference will be given to candidates with work experience as Brach Head.

Assistant/ Senior Assistant/ Managerial Trainee/ Trainee Assistant

Certificate level/10+2 (intermediate) or equivalent pass with 2 years of work experience in microfinance institution.
SEE or equivalent pass with 1 year of work experience in microfinance institution.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Management
Minimum SEE or equivalent pass.

Age Limit

Managerial level: Not exceeding 21 to 45 years
Officer Level: Not exceeding 21 to 40 years
Assistant Level: Not exceeding 18 to 35 years.
(Additional 5 years for in upper age limit for female candidates)
Other: Preference to candidates able to drive motorcycle
