Education Qualification

MEAL Officer Post

Bachelor’s degree in social science or development studies in the field relevant to M&E At least 2 years of experience working with I/NGO in the field of monitoring, evaluation and accountability sector

Sector Knowledge, Skills & competency:

  • Data collection méthodologies – qualitative and quantitative
  • Effective written and oral communications skills including presentation and reporting skills
  • Computer and Technology literacy; Good computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Develop tools to collect the information against indicator
  • Demonstrate collaboration & team building skills
  • Confidence to represent in district; government and other like-minded organization
  • Programme logic, indicators, M&E plan

Program Manager Post

  • Bachelor Degree in the given sector, management, social science or business studies with minimum 7 years working experience in managing multiple projects with diverse team or
  • Master degree in the relevant field, management, social science of business studies preferred with minimum of 4 years of work experience in managing multiple projects with diverse team
  • Proven ability to manage risks and promote governance to contribute on strategic outcomes
  • Experience working with children and their wellbeing in both development or emergency contexts

Sector Knowledge:

  • Have a good technical knowledge and experience on sector, data and information management
  • Proven project management and financial management experience
  • Diverse team management to yield quality results within the stipulated time period
  • Presentation skill to highlight on the areas of success and failures with qualitative and quantitative data and relevant information

Finance Coordinator Post

Bachelor Degree of Commerce, Business Studies or Equivalent

  • Master Degree in Finance/Accounting or Equivalent, preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in independently handling budgeting, financial accounting, planning and analysis in I/NGO and preferably within WVIN projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of MS office Package (Word/Excel/PowerPoint etc.) & Internet
  • Experience of working in a computerized accounting environment like IPAS, FAMAS.
  • Ability to lead financial management of the project/program and make the linkage of this with overall financial management of the organization

Sector Knowledge:

  • General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Good command of English & Nepali languages (written & spoken)
  • Practical knowledge of project budgeting, accounting & reporting
  • Able to articulate and communicate ideas well verbally and in writing

Program Officer – Protection Post

Bachelor in Social Work, human rights, child rights or relevant discipline with five year of experience in Child protection related project (preferably system strengthening and life skills projects)

Sector Knowledge:

  • Knowledge related on Government policy, programme priorities, needs and issues in relation to the sector priorities
  • Well informed and disseminate message on WVIN Protection Sector and priorities, project model  and approaches used (Child Protection & Advocacy – system strengthening, Life skills)
  • Good Knowledge on child Protection and Gender Based Violence approaches, theory of change for the protection sector
  • Knowledge on physical and sexual abuse, child marriage, child labour, positive parenting and discipline, working with children, safeguarding of beneficiaries and gender based violence and systemic approach and ability to analyze context to inform the project.

Field Protection Officer Post

Bachelor in Social Work, child rights, human rights or relevant discipline with five year of experience in Child protection related project (preferably system strengthening and life skills projects)

Sector Knowledge:

  • Knowledge on child protection mechanism, life skills and child club management, positive parenting and positive discipline child marriage, child labour and gender based violence and ability to analyze context to inform the project
  • Well informed and disseminate message on Protection Sector and priorities, project model  (Child Protection & Advocacy – system strengthening, Life skills)
  • Knowledge related on Government policy, programme priorities, needs and issues in relation to the sector priorities

SCM & Admin Officer Post

Bachelor’s degree in business/management or other relevant field

Sponsorship Quality Officer Post

Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field with at least two years’ experience in Development Sector.

  • Knowledge on supporting to alternative income activities to brick industry worker
  • Proven ability and experience in working with vulnerable groups for uplifting their livelihood
  • Experience working in eradicating child labour throughout livelihood support to their parents
